Joan Minasian's Retirement Party

Hard to believe, but Joan Minasian is retiring January 31st after 11 years as “chief cook and bottlewasher” at Fresno Pacific University. We will surely miss her! Please come celebrate her and wish her well at a university-wide come-and-go reception in the AIMS Atrium on Thursday, January 18th from 2:30-4:00 p.m. Joan will be continuing with her two great passions: investing in the next generation of non-profit leaders by teaching and mentoring in the Humanics program at CSUF, and working to strengthen the non-profit sector in the Central Valley as a certified BoardSource consultant and trainer.

Joan arrived at FPU on February 1, 2007, as Capital Campaign Director in the Advancement Office. She later took on the role of Director of Community and Corporate Development, which included direction of FPU’s business and ministry forums and the coordination of grants and events. In 2013, Joan took on the role of Director of Annual Giving, spearheading the growth of a culture of philanthropy at FPU. As you know, such titles never stopped Joan from giving all of herself and her skills to the mission and people of Fresno Pacific, whether through the décor committee, the transition to NCAA, the Alumni Council, founding the Kappa Phi Club at FPU, or taking the mic to direct or encourage us toward a common goal…or meal. Joan has touched many, many lives during her time here at FPU. Please come wish her well.
