Farewell for Charity Brown

Charity Brown, director of alumni  development, will be leaving Fresno Pacific University after 12 years to pursue a new position with Clovis Unified School District. She begins her role as a Resource Specialist II – Foundation and Marketing for CUSD on Thursday, August 15th, resourcing the foundation board of directors in fund initiatives, assisting the overall marketing and public relations goals for the district, and providing advertising opportunities to the local business community through the CUSD Today newspaper publications. Charity’s contributions at Fresno Pacific University have formed a legacy of relationships, connections and enthusiasm—from her time as a degree completion student to her work through the degree completion department; from serving as a freshman mentor to ordering and shining the senior class plaques; from caring for donors and alumni to networking with community leaders as a member of the advancement team. The alumni coffee booth at the MCC Sale may never be the same…though we are glad Charity will always be a supportive Sunbird!
Please join her colleagues and friends in wishing Charity a farewell at a university-wide coffee break in the Alumni Plaza on main campus, Monday, August 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. There will be an opportunity to send her off with a note of encouragement and blessing.
