Books That Shaped Our Lives: Billie Jean Wiebe
The current exhibit of Books That Shaped Our Lives features Billie Jean Wiebe, Associate Professor of Communication and English. Billie Jean’s book of significance is The Year of Magical Thinking, by Joan Didion. Billie Jean says that this book “is a beautiful, edgy account of death, loss, and change.”
Books That Shaped Our Lives is an ongoing series in which Hiebert Library asks people from the university community to write several paragraphs about a book that has been significant to them. The display is available in the lounge near the library’s main circulation desk. It can also be found on the library homepage and Facebook page.
If you are interested in contributing to this series, contact Hope Nisly. It is open to all faculty and staff.
