6th Spiritual Care Summit: Spirituality and Addiction
All Clergy, Spiritual Leaders, Veterans, Health Care Workers, and All Interested, are invited to join us for a special half-day Summit on October 25th as we learn more about the importance of Spirituality in relation to addiction and recovery. Addiction is really a deep spiritual hunger—a yearning for fulfillment, connectedness, meaning, and wholeness. A state of intoxication for addicts and alcoholics can mimic a feeling of meaningfulness. For our Veterans and many others, drug and alcohol use becomes a temporary respite from his/her spiritual quest.
