Important Payroll Notice to All Employees ***ACTION REQUIRED***

Time Entry and Approval will be moved up during the University Holiday.  You must enter and approve time in advance for the Christmas Holiday shut down in order to receive correct pay on January 4th, 2019 pay day.  What this means:

Non-exempt (hourly) employees must enter their time by end of day on Friday December 21st (the last work day prior to the holiday shut down).  Holiday paid hours will need to be entered in advance into the timekeeping system.

Exempt employees should enter any vacation hours during the December 16 through 29th pay period and submit their approval in the timekeeping system.  Nothing else is required.   University paid holidays will automatically populate by the timekeeping system.

Supervisors must approve time before 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.  There will be no exceptions to late approvals because payroll must process on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, for direct deposits to process and be in accounts by Friday pay day. 


Please inform your departments of this holiday adjustment in timekeeping and approval.

12/21/18 -Time Entry Deadline at midnight on Friday (non-exempt and exempt vacation time)

1/2/19 - 9:00 AM – Supervisor Time approval deadline: Please ensure Holiday hours have been entered

1/4/18 – Friday Pay Day

12/24/18 – 1/ 1/ 19 – University closed for the holidays
