Todd Davis Poetry Reading

Mennonite poet Todd Davis will read from his work at a free public event on Thursday, January 31, at 7:30 p.m. in North Hall 123 (Seminary Chapel). The twelfth speaker in the Jean and Louis Janzen Visiting Writers Series, Davis is the author of six full-length collections of poetry, most recently Native Species and Winterkill. He grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, and began his teaching career at Goshen College. He is a member of University Mennonite Church in State College, Pennsylvania, and teaches environmental studies, creative writing, and American literature at Penn State Altoona. The reading will be followed by refreshments and book signing.
