"Triptych" by Mariah Bosch and EJ Hinojosa at the Rogue Festival

Poet Mariah Bosch and composer EJ Hinojosa, recent FPU Music graduate, bring music together with spoken word. Bosch, a mentee of Juan Felipe Herrera, explores themes of past, present, and future in her recent poem titled "Triptych." Hinojosa synthesizes musical styles including Jazz, Rock and Baroque to create moods derived from the themes found in the poem. Joining the chamber ensemble is FPU Assistant Professor of Art and Adjunct Guitar instructor Chris Janzen on guitar.  The music serves as an arena for the spoken word.  The original work will be performed at Vista Theater, 1296 N. Wishon Ave., Fresno, California 93728 five times during the 2019 Rogue Festival: March 1 (8:30 PM), March 2 (2 PM), March 3 (6:30 PM), March 7 (8:30 PM), and March 9 (5 PM).
