Cynthia Velasquez: “Identity” Presentation

In honor of Women’s History Month, we invite you to the presentation of the Artist Cynthia Velasquez: “Identity” that will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at 12:00 p.m. in the ALAS Center.

Artist Cynthia Velasquez will speak about her work (art exhibit currently displayed in SCC 122).

Cynthia’s art exhibition represents her personal journey of self-discovery as a female artist, immigrant, student, mentor and young activist in the arts. She created a series of artworks to represent the importance of women who made an impact in society and changed the way we view women today.

Please stop by the ALAS Center anytime to see this amazing artwork made by our Art student. The exhibit will be displayed until the end of March.

This event is brought to you by the ALAS Title V Program in partnership with Prof. Chris Janzen and the Art Department.
