CCT's Sacred Streets: A Congregational Tool to Address Homelessness

The FPU Center for Community Transformation (CCT) is the convener of the Fresno Mayor's Faith Based Partnership Cabinet, and with the cabinet, has coordinated the creation of a congregational tool to address homelessness called Sacred Streets. This is a unique, four step process that any faith institution can go through to prepare a strategy to reach out to the homeless on the streets near their institutions. The upcoming training will be September 18, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Clovis. What you will get: 1) ways to approach the homeless effectively in a manner that really helps, 2) ways to protect and be good stewards of your property, 3) ways to assess what might be your church's best approach, 4) a chance to ask experts your hardest questions. Teams from congregations are welcome. The training is free, but you must register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sacred-streets-training-tickets-68528060273?aff=ebdshpsearchautocomplete
