Open Forum Conversation with Spiritual Formation and Diversity

With the recent departure of Angulus Wilson, university pastor and chief diversity officer, and Cindy Jurado Hernandez, director of diversity and inclusion, the Office of Spiritual Formation & Diversity (OSFD) is going through a time of significant transition. OSFD will continue with the spiritual formation and diversity initiatives it has traditionally provided the FPU community (College Hour, chapel, chirp, student ministries, multi-ethnic discipleship, food pantry, etc.) in the interim. However, this time of transition has afforded us the opportunity to re-evaluate our current programming and approach, and to potentially reimagine what spiritual vitality and diversity can look like moving forward, including the role OSFD will play in both. To that end, we greatly desire to hear the thoughts and ideas of the whole FPU community and will be holding an open forum discussion on Wednesday, November 6, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., in the Shehadey Dining Hall. All who desire to provide feedback and help shape the future of the Office of Spiritual Formation and Diversity are invited to this important conversation. While we would love for full participation from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., please feel free to come for one hour to share your thoughts and feedback. Thank you!
