Council of Senior Professionals Spring 2020 Seminars

Coming next week Tuesday, January 14, in SCC 103 (2:00 - 4:00 p.m.) Nicole Linder: “Healthy Families: The Foundation of Healthy Communities”

Nicole Linder is the Executive Director of the Marjaree Mason Center in Fresno. Founded in 1979, the Marjaree Mason Center supports and empowers adults and children affected by domestic violence, while striving to prevent and end the cycle of abuse through education and advocacy.

Unfortunately, there is no shortage of individuals and families affected by domestic violence in our community. Fresno County law enforcement projects nearly 9,000 domestic violence cases in 2019 and we know that countless more are unreported. Marjaree Mason Center is Fresno County’s only dedicated provider of domestic violence shelter and support services which includes 24/7 crisis response, emergency housing, case management, therapeutic services and education. More than 6,000 adults and children receive services annually.

Prior to her appointment at the Center, Nicole served as Senior Development Officer at Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation, and for eleven years in various advancement positions at Fresno Pacific. She is a graduate of Fresno State in Mass Communication and Journalism. She is married with two children.
