Increased Phishing Attacks During the Coronavirus Threat

Please be aware that during times of crisis like that which we are seeing with the COVID-19 virus, cybercriminals try to take advantage of the situation by increasing their attacks and they try to hook you with information related to the current crisis. These emails may look very legitimate and may be quite compelling. Please be extra cautious about clicking on links in any email, pay attention to bad grammar or spelling errors as these are telltale signs that something may be off regarding the email. In addition, pay close attention to the email address, not just the name of the person displayed as the sender.
