New Music Department Faculty

The School of Humanities, Religion & Social Sciences is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Wilson, D.M.A., to the Visual and Performing Arts Division, coming on board as the director of choral activities, July 1, 2020.

Jeffrey S. Wilson currently serves as director of choral activities and professor of music at Greenville University. Wilson became the fifth conductor of the Greenville College University in August 1996. Before moving to Greenville, he taught at Augustana College and in the Riverdale Community School District (Port Byron, Illinois). He has extensive experience as a church musician and has traveled throughout the Midwestern and Northwestern United States, as well as Western and Eastern Europe, as a concert vocalist and accompanist. In addition to his duties as conductor of the Greenville University Choir, Chamber Singers, and the Greenville Choral Union, Jeff currently teaches voice, conducting and choral techniques. While on sabbatical during the spring of 2012, he was visiting professor of music at Hope Africa University (Burundi, Africa).
