Please join us on Tuesday, June 30 at 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. virtually as we celebrate Juneteenth and local iconic leaders in our community through their personal stories. Join here: https://web.yammer.com/main/events/98495876-fd4b-4d7c-b9ad-69dd2cc9ecb6?eventReferrer=YammerAttendeeLink

The purpose of the Juneteenth celebration is to raise awareness of the celebration of freedom for the black community with the FPU community. Guest speakers such as Pastor D.J. Criner from Saint Rest Baptist Church, Marsha and Staci Jones from Purposed II Praise School of Dance and Rosalind Butler-Patrick, who is a franchise owner of Hot Dog on a Stick, will engage with viewers their stories and how we can help support black-owned businesses in our community.

If you are unable to attend this live session, it will be recorded and available to watch on Yammer at yammer.com/fresno.edu. For any questions about this virtual event, please contact Kristy Sims-Jefferson at kristy.sims@fresno.edu and Emily Colvard at emily.colvard@fresno.edu.
