Building Institutional Resilience and Expanding Opportunities During and After COVID-19

The U.S. Department of Education is currently offering grant funds to support activities that can help our institution become more resilient both during and after COVID-19. Specifically, it supports projects that develop more cost-effective models of operation to make education more accessible in remote learning and help resume operations.

Are there ideas, items or technology that would enable you or your department to serve more students in a new and sustainable format? Are there trainings that you feel would be beneficial in helping staff and faculty engage in technology? Do you have ideas on how to implement safe and effective delivery models that will enable safe in-person learning and expand remote learning when necessary? Do you have students in need of laptops or coverage of internet access fees so they can fully access classes?

To get a sense of the needs that have arisen in your department or school as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, we invite you to share your ideas by contacting Gregory Zubacz no later than September 18, 2020.
