Main Campus Parking Update

As we begin the hybrid return of staff to campus, additional parking lots will be available for parking. Employees will need to continue to complete and pass the COVID screening in the MyFPU app on their own each day they come to campus. It is essential employees complete the screening app each day they are on campus to provide accurate information should contact tracing be necessary. The following provides information regarding parking lot availability:  


  • Hamilton Lot will remain as is with the current checkpoint. The Hamilton Lot is where all guests and vendors will need to enter to access campus and complete the COVID screening at the checkpoint.  
  • McDonald Hall parking lot: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
  • Heaton Avenue parking lot: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
  • Steinert (facilities) parking lot: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Jost Hall parking lot: available for residential students only. 


Employees who want access to the McDonald and Heaton lots between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday will need to use the gate code: 2674. Please do not share the gate code with the non-FPU community.


There will be no paid parking permit required until the fall semester; however, employees still need to register their vehicle. Upon completion of their vehicle registration, employees will receive a free parking permit which will allow them to park in the designated parking lots listed above.
